Welcome to the Dome.

When you first play in the dome, please take a couple of minutes to familiarise yourself with the surroundings, paying particular attention to the emergency evacuation process and where your nearest emergency exit is.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Dome

How much does it cost per hour to hire a court?

Rates are slightly different for members and non-members. Our booking system will recognise which you are. Peak times are after 6pm on weekdays. Rates are as follows:

How do I book a court?

If you’re looking to book on an ad-hoc basis, we have a really simple online booking system. All you need to do is visit our website at
with just a view clicks, you will be able to view availability, book your court and pay online. (see our guide on how to book your court below).
You’ll need a clubspark login to access the booking site. If you don’t already have one, you’ll be prompted during the booking process to sign-up.

Can I access the booking system on my smart phone?

Yes, access is really simple using your phone, tablet or computer. If you’re booking on your smart phone, use the arrows at the top of the page to view availability for both courts 4 and 5.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

Your booking can be cancelled using the ‘manage my bookings’ link on your confirmation email. Alternatively, go to your booked slot in the calendar on the bookings page of the website, and select your time slot. For both options, click on ‘cancel my booking’. You’ll receive a confirmation email when cancelled. If you cancel within 24 hours of the booking commencing, you’ll receive a full refund.

How do I book a court on a regular basis?

If you’re interested in committing to a block booking on a regular basis, please contact Iain Carswell on . Block bookings are managed separately at a discounted rate.

Can I book the dome if I’m not a member at Carisbrooke?

Absolutely! We welcome non-members. The hourly rate for non-members is slightly more expensive. If you’re interested in joining for the remainder of this season we have some fantastic membership deals. Please contact our membership secretary John Simpson on  at

Which court am I playing on?

When booking, you’ll have the option to book court 4 or 5. Court 5 is the nearest to the dome main entrance and court 4 the furthest. Please always use the court number booked.

What if i’m the first here? And/or the last to leave?

Assuming you’ve made it in inside, you may find the lights aren’t on. The light switch is situated next to the revolving door. Green button is ‘on’ and red is ‘off’. If there is no-one else playing when you’ve finished, please switch the lights off and secure the gates outside. Please ensure the pedestrian gate at the side of the dome is closed when you leave.

Are there toilet facilities and changing rooms I’m able to use?

Yes. Feel free to use our facilities before, during and after you play. They are situated next to our clubhouse. Follow the pathway along the right-hand side of the dome as you exit the facility. The ladies is at the top of the stairs of the clubhouse entrance and the gents are through the door/corridor on the right.

Simple Steps to Download & Use the Clubspark App

Go to (click on the ‘book a court’ tab)
click on the menu bar or tab, depending on the device you’re using, and select the booking option.
Click on the calendar button or use the arrows to find the date you’d like to book your court.
Check availability on both courts, 1 and 2, using the arrow keys at the top of the calendar next to the dome court cell. On the day you select, click on the time you’d like the booking to start which will open the ‘make a booking’ on the down arrow to select the finish time. The system will tell you how long
the booking is for and the cost.
Click on the ‘confirm the booking’ button which will bring up the confirm and pay window. Check your booking details and click ‘confirm’ and pay.
Enter your credit card details and your payment will be processed. Some phones will give you the option to scan your card by photo to speed up the process. You’ll receive a booking confirmation by email which includes instructions and access details.
