Cost: Single session £20. Payment by bank transfer, details provided.
Places confirmed once payment is received, All coaches are LTA Level 4 or 3 qualified/DBS certified and First Aid qualified. Any allergies or medical conditions should be advised to Jack at the time of booking.

All coaches do individual lessons every day so get in touch with them. If any member wants a group that is not provided get in touch with Jack to discuss options.

Men's Match Practice (spring only) will be organised by team captains on different days of the week. If you would like to join a team squad speak to Jack.
There are various Mix in sessions available as well as the Singles and Mixed Doubles Ladders. Please speak to Jack about any of these.

Train With The Best
Carisbrooke is proud to have one of the strongest coaching programmes in the county, led by Head Coach Jack Simpson and supported by Club Coaches Sam Preston and Jonny Cloke.
The trio have had highly successful tennis careers, with all winning multiple county titles and being selected for the Leicestershire men’s summer and winter county teams.
The club offers a full and varied seasonal coaching programme for juniors and seniors, including group sessions and individual one-on-one lessons.
Our coaches teach young players from Mini-red, orange and green level right through to performance-level standards.
We also offer weekly cardio tennis, doubles masterclass lessons and group sessions for beginners.
Jack Simpson
Head Coach & Level 4 Development & Performance Coach
My role at Carisbrooke as Head Coach is to oversee the junior development programme, the junior performance programme and the adults’ programme.
I have been coaching for more than fifteen years now in a number of different environments and have now established myself in club coaching. I graduated from Stirling University in 2008 where I was on a tennis scholarship, obtaining a degree in Sport and Business Studies.
Sam Preston
Performance Coach (Level 4)
I have been working as a tennis coach for 13 years now, coaching players of all ages and abilities .
For the past two years, I have focused on performance coaching at Carisbrooke and have also been fortunate enough to spend time on court with the Midlands coaching team assisting with the delivery of regional camps and weekly regional training at the county centre of excellence at Loughborough University.
I am a lifelong tennis enthusiast who has played the game since I was five-years-old, playing at club, county and national level. I still compete for the Leicestershire county men’s team with my team-mate Jack Simpson, who I now work with on the coaching team at Carisbrooke.

Jonny Cloke
Club Coach (Level 3)
I have been playing tennis for most of my life and have been coaching for more than ten years.
I am enthusiastic and passionate about the sport and enjoy bringing the most out of my players.
Jonny has won numerous titles at the Leicestershire County Closed Championships, including several doubles crowns in both the mixed and men’s draws.
He has also represented the county men’s team and recently helped Carisbrooke reach the National Club League finals at Bournemouth.
Alex Sololenko
Tennis Assistant
I have been playing tennis at a high level for a number of years and have now decided to pursue tennis coaching. I am currently undertaking my qualifications and look forward to doing more and more coaching hours on court. I represent the Leicestershire county men’s side, am a numerous senior and junior county champion and in 2019 won the U-18 national doubles title. I like working with all ages and level of player and look forward to meeting more of you in the coming months.
